Sanctification: More like Jesus. Less like myself.
“He must become greater; I must become less.” (John 3:30)
No one drifts onto the narrow road by chance.
“For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)
If there is immediate pleasure/satisfaction in a choice you’re about to make, ask yourself this question: Is this the best decision for my future?
Beware of wolves! The wolf will look like this!
1. “All about me” reputation, not really helping anyone.
2. Doesn’t have your best future (life) as genuine motive.
3. Do not mistake religious activity for good fruit.
4. There’s usually a trail of relational destruction.
