Since I started to DJ in the mid 90's, giving away mix-tapes was always important for me. It was an extra service with every booking. It feels good that people enjoying my work not only ON the dance-floor!
Nowadays time has become scarce for me, and so I have to be very selective with bookings.
Since therefor my DJ-gig income is pretty much gone, your contribution will go to the purchases of music tracks. Lets not even talk about the expensive equipment and the many many hours of preparation. And so carry on publishing mixtapes regularly and for many years to come!
