What were you doing in july 1999?
I was djing in many lounges and bars in Montreal using vinyl. While keeping a happy vibe, I played tracks with conscious positive and inspirational messages to the drunk crowds and somehow I knew it got through to some of them, if only to their subconscious. With this mixtape, I put a particular emphasis on these MESSAGES. For the visuals I found a microscopic picture of the diamond of the needle on the vinyl allowing us to literally see the engraved messages.

by 1996 i travelled with a friend with 2 decks,a mixers and about 50 kgs of vinyl to distribute the message....by trains...we had to change them 5 or 6 times...and 4 borders....
excuse the typing...9 am after a night shift...damn i miss those subversive tracks....by lirics,by sound....
