A good mixtape is not about the cover art or the person who gave it to you or (sometimes) its not even about the music itself. Its about that moment you hear the first notes of the beginning of each song in the collection. The anticipation of what's going to come next provided there isn't a tracklist (something I never bothered to include.) This "blend" is all about that anticipation of what is going to come next and how it all fits nicely together. My fondness for hip-hop is clearly evident here but also my love for breakbeats and... classic rock? Yup, you read that right. This is my gift to you so enjoy anticipating.
