Adekunle Gold

Adekunle Gold is at the forefront of the explosion of Nigerian influence on popular music around the globe. Born into the Kosoko royal family, he relinquished the crown for a life dedicated to music. His excellent fourth record, Catch Me if You Can, released earlier this year, represents an exciting new phase in his artistry.

Host Elia Einhorn recently spoke with Adekunle about his journey from Highlife and Juju to hip hop and pop; his precise vision for choosing collaborators; and balancing the familial needs of being a new father with wanting to model success for his daughter.
