Out there on the internet, there is a little music sharing community called This Is My Jam. It has (hopefully) forever changed the way I discover music, be it new gems or old diamonds. Today a good share of my music library and gig memories can be attributed to discoveries made through this growing community.
In the spirit of the Jam, I decided to use this afternoon to do a bit of my own kind of hand-picked curating, and so began a hunt for the more quiet, bluesy, heartbreaking and heart warming tunes I've either discovered or shared at TIMJ.
Here is the result - a Blueberry Jam of sorts. Somewhat appropriately, it begins and ends with Arthur Russell.
