MOVING SOUNDS - Interview with Sarah Davachi (21/03/2021)

MOVING SOUNDS - Interview with Sarah Davachi (21/03/2021)

Chart positions

This show was 41st in the global classical chart and 75th in the global experimental chart.

For this edition of Moving Sounds the artist Sarah Davachi joins me via zoom. Sarah picks 10 songs that have signposted her life and we talk across many subjects from early music, having Thom Yorke as a fan, British comedy, tuning methods to her new label Late Music. We also speak about the legendary Mills College. Sarah operates within the worlds of sound art and electronic and electroacoustic composition and is such a lovely person as you will hear. I have been lucky to have been reworked by Sarah in 2017 for my song ‘Bad Role Model”.

If you like what you hear, please spread the word about the show. If you are an artist or represent one, however under the radar, please get in touch with James on Instagram on @jamesheathersounds to submit music.

There is also a regularly updated and sequenced playlist on Spotify:
