MOVING SOUNDS - An interview with Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (08/08/2021)

MOVING SOUNDS - An interview with Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch (08/08/2021)

Chart positions

This show was 18th in the global soundtrack chart and 34th in the global classical chart.

This month on Moving Sounds I am joined by Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch . Emilie is an award winning French pianist/composer living in London. She has recently completed a stunning score for the film Censor, and also the critically acclaimed film Rocks. She has also released music on the legendary 130701 label. We had a 2 hour chat about her life and the songs that have signposted it including Debussy, Bjork, the music of the film Blade Runner to the Italian prog-rock/horror band Goblin. I learnt alot talking to Emilie about music and hope you will too.
Moving Sounds is a show that connects spaces between classical, electronic, ambient, soul, jazz, drone, film soundtrack, folk, field recordings & other sounds from the past but mostly from NOW. If you like what you hear, please spread the word about the show and if you are an artist or represent one, however under the radar, please get in touch with James on Instagram on @jamesheathersounds to submit music.
