Nothing influences a set better than a trip to A Love From Outer Space (ALFOS) and there is no better way to recover from an ALFOS weekend that pulling together a new set. Gave me a great excuse to sit on my behind without feeling guilty :)
A little more warped and twisted than usual but still with a bouncy, albeit dark, indie dance vibe to it. This one's dedicated to all the ALFOS cadets out there. A very special breed of people :)

ET, agree with previous comments, your transitions are simply incredible...at the risk of becoming A White Woman in Trouble and sounding a wee bit Heretic(al) so that the Cowbell Tolls for me...this not a genre of music that was/is part of my listening experience...tho from listening to you, stubbie, and Jacey, among others, this Error That Occurred is slowly being rectified ... as weird as it may sound, I actually meditated to part of the set this morning as I meditate to all kinds of music ...dnb or full on goa ;)) ..oftentimes, I'll get images in my head...it's hard to explain, but it was as if I was in the blackness of outer space and I saw sheets of smooth shiny glass that inexplicably looked/felt like a black and shiny river, with the music flowing back and forth across it, as well as descending/ascending through the slick glass...had to Google calignosity...get it just another indication of my ignorance i guess lol...darkness, fog, gloom...my experience was one of darkness and depth, not so much gloom or fog....crackin set as y'all say...

Hats off here ET ... a monumental mix for sure. Some great electro groove in the first part but the last 40 mins were just blinding for me. Couple of tracks back to back at around the 50 min mark that just ramped this up a gear for me. Quality work pal!!

Some amazing comments already posted....and deservedly so....this is nothing short of being your best set yet...and there have been some crackers already...locked in,mesmerising,hypnotic...just some of the adjectives that resonate here...and I have to agree with the comments about your transitions,especially An Error Occurred into For Whom the Cowbell Tolls....took my breath away and left me with a big smile....then you killed it again with your next transition....sweetspot hit yet again ::))
Besides this...awesome opening statement...Toucan is getting hammered the now,nice remix from Mr BC!...and Unclear is a class track,building nicely towards the finale!

Yeah. I've been totally floored by the comments Stubbie. I've been buzzing so much I've not been able to respond to comments! Apologies for the late reply mate and thanks for your really generous comments. As you know, nothing beats an ALFOS night for inspiration (and a lot of other things) and seems to have paid off for this one. I've come to the conclusion that I'll now need to make sure I don't miss any future nights if I want to maintain any momentum :)
