"We got a venue!" 'BigSqueeze' yells to me from across the room.

For the past couple years, a bunch of us pulled together to put on all nighter Halloween parties. We rented a huge mansion and invited our closest 200-300 friends. Come Spring when we'd see those friends again, the first thing they'd say was,
"Are you going to do the Halloween party again? That was THE BEST party I've EVER been to!!"

We'd been looking for a venue all year, since the mansion venue from last year canceled on us. Some kids came back a few days later looking for their stuff, and walked in on the current vacation renters. No amount of apologizing and reasoning could fix it. This year, only 3 days before Halloween, we found a venue.

It's pretty amazing how people can all pull together to make something so huge happen. We all did it for free, too. We had to charge a few bucks at the door to help comp for the rental, cleani...
