If my Burning Man mix is Tron sexytime, then this one is getting chased around by a Recognizer. And then breakdancing with it. This mix starts off rather fierce, but then settles in for some electro fun. Lassigue Bendthaus (aka Atom Heart) makes a surprise appearance, and Disprove teams up with Signal to make for something that it hard to match for sheer smackin'-you-upside-the-headedness. The title "Archons" refers to an alleged civilization that been living alongside us in another dimension, and the notion is both appealing & disconcerting. For example, if you happened upon a real-life view of the city so beautifully rendered by DeepAI in the cover art, would run toward it or away from it? This is perhaps my favorite "there are 2 kinds of people" question. Interactions between civilizations have never gone well for the technologically-disadvantaged party - so, if we do come in contact with the Archons at some point, we have to wonder how they'll choose to "serve" man.
