It all started with collecting and swapping rave tapes at the beginning of the 90s, immediately hooked on the fresh raw sounds. Got my first set of decks soon after, mixing mostly house. Fast forward a year or two, the 1210 mk2's arrived and I was spinning happy hardcore and Jungle.
Late 90s early 00s Drum and Bass was my golden era. I fell in with a talented crew, putting on monthly LiveVeviL nights at Glasgow School of Art through 2000-05. We hosted the likes of Shy FX, Pendulum, Total Science, Simon Bassline Smith, Optical, Matrix, Logistics, Breakage and Loxy to name a few. Awesome times.
I currently present a weekly Friday night show on oldskoolanthems.com radio, playing early 90s house and breakbeat, occasionally happy hardcore and jungle/drum and bass (as long as it's from 98 or before). I also livestream regularly on here with Club Sounds Live, playing mostly electronic and deep tech, but like to play some deep dnb from time to time.
