Inspired by the Easter weekend indoors, the beautiful sun laughing down on us and the sight of a news report of mass graves being dug in New York City. A truly strange and emotionally confusing time for the planet. No particular genre, but I guess there is a heavy Jazz influence. Artists include Ashley Henry, Cal Tjader, Roy Ayres, Ronny Jordan ft Mos Def, Robert Glasper ft Erykah Badu, The Hot 8 Brass Band, Irene Kral and Al Jarreau. Who doesn’t love a brass band version of ‘Sexual Healing’? :-)
