thanks iCazo. i was still a kid ya. truth be told i did remember disco sounding cool as a kid. it was everywhere. Kinda like the dubstep of it's time. a lot before it and a lot after it yet it has a certain place. music would not be the same today without the rise and fall of disco and it's many offshoots...
like all genres. music is a feeling . age aside . like a good method actor, we can all get to it if we want to.
yea. true.. I get the methods / universal things.. it's all floating out-there.. it's about tapping into it. Besides the whole age thing, and even the track selection, I mean 'The Bay City Rollers' yea man! Them.. Bowie.. Cherry Bomb.. TK Records.. Salsoul.. Moroder... all mixed together. You mixed it the way it used to be mixed. We used to call it "changes". You totally captured that.
..and agree.. pretty much every EDM genre and must sub-genres are rooted to Disco. 'Keep it comin on'!
