Wow! Love this 90s lounge set including some great artists Sade Lenny Kravitz 👌🏽😊
Thank you very much, Sandy! Have a lovely weekend.
Fabulous ❤️
Thank you! Have a lovely Sunday.
Yes! Me too! A very Irish sound - but the band are American I understand. Thank you for allowing me to come up with suggestions - R.E.M. - Find the river?
Had to look that one up, but yes, I'll gladly put it on the list. It'll be fun to play around with some unfamiliar oldies. Thanks (and keep them coming, if you feel like it).
In 1994 there was a fantastic tune 'Return to me' by October Project from the Jeff Bridges film 'Blown Away; that could lead the sequel to the 90s Mellow Mix! All in good time, all in good time...................:)
Good one! Yes, I remember. When I first heard the song, I thought it was by Clannad or Enya. I seem to recall that it reminded me a bit of Annie Lennox's "Why" as well. This could definitely lead somewhere... Please feel free to pour more suggestions into my suggestible brain, should you think of other appropriate tracks.

Hey thanks! That track completely passed me by at the time. Well, not just me, I gather... And they could have been the female Pet Shop Boys. Interesting... And what a shame.
Banderas - with an album featuring Bernard Sumner (New Order), Johnny Marr (The Smiths) and Jimmy Somerville, they should have been superstars!

Wow! Thank you Jay! Yes i love Massive Attack - i played Blue Lines over and over in the summer of 91. Adding Prefab Sprout, Sade and the Banderas classic make this the finest mix! It's strange yet I thought of the Chimes just yesterday wondering whatever became of them.
They only made the one album, as far as I'm aware. Singer Pauline Henry had some solo hits in the UK charts, I believe. Oh, and don't get me started on that Banderas song... How was that not a worldwide chart-topper?! (And where have THEY gone?)
Great selection and mix!
Thank you, that's very kind!

Thank you very much! Very glad you enjoy it. Have a lovely weekend.
I had your 1980s mixes as my favourite shows for a long long time - their reign is over! This is sublime! Carrying some great tunes and mixed really so well - you must have worked really hard at putting this labour of love together. How wonderful to hear the great Shara Nelson and Tracy Thorn in this mix - thank you!!
Thanks, Adrian, I'm really happy you like this mix. In fact, you're partly responsible for its content: last year, in a comment on another mix, you suggested I should do something with "Protection" in it. Somehow that stayed with me, and this is the result. It did help that it's one of my favourite songs by one of my favourite singers performing with that incredibly innovative band (and their track with the exquisite Shara Nelson is great too, obviously). So yes, a labour of love. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
Jay.
