Generosity

Luke 10:30-37
Sermon Summary
The Good Samaritan speaks to us about how we might respond to vulnerable strangers in our midst. It speaks to us as a congregation seeking to bring people together across the lines of race and class. It speaks to us as a nation aspiring to embody those immortal words:
"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore... the homeless, tempest-tossed..." It's a story of generosity, and it challenges us in our attitudes about giving.
