Octavio a.k.a Lion is a producer and DJ from Asunción, Paraguay. His relationship with music took off in the late 80s and 90s when he started buying records and playing drums in a metal band. In the beginning of the year 2000 he bought his first turntables along with friend and colleague Cosmo Lopez with whom he practiced extensively until getting to master the art of mixing. Through the years this concept absorbed House and Techno textures taking the form of LPZ with releases in various labels such as Keep Up!, Loungin, Bodywork, and their own LPZ Records which was recently founded and has already issued 5 releases. After returning from a Berlin tour with LPZ in 2014, he started making and releasing music with P.Lopez as P.Lopez & Octavio on labels such as Aeon and LPZ Records. He is currently a resident DJ at Sequence Club in Asunción where he has played alongside renowned artists of the global techno scene.
