Rockers… They sure love trains !!
Here’s is the Second mix from what I called « Rocker’s obcessions » (first was « Road Trip Jesus »)
It all come from the blues origins, the shuffle sound, the clinking of the rails, the hobos, the freight-train riders, that spirit of adventure, the mighty far west, the big machines, that slow sliding across the country but in the same time a symbol of freedom, speed and raw power, that just can’t be stop ! Everything that is Rock N’Roll !!
Here I conentrate on the 70s but we can think many more later in the century, and after.
Also I have to exclude a lot of songs to find the right mood and keep it listenable. Some of those songs are handsome classics but they didn’t fit in the mix. For exemple « Long Train Runnin » by The Doobie Brothers is way too funky.
So here we are with 1h21 of ’70s Classic Rock.
