Light, colour, sound: mediums of change that transform our city each season. Sauna and Concordia Greenhouse were happy to present a performance among the saturation of stimuli in downtown MTL.
Sauna VII hosted the project Intention, under the direction of Bradley Powell, combining meditation with chamber music, funded by Emploi-Québec’s Jeunes Volontaires program. Following a brief centering exercise led by Adam Mahmoud, violist Allie Norris and bassist Renaud Boucher-Browning will perform solos and a duo. The idea behind this format is that the audience and performers were able to disconnect from all that happens outside in their daily lives and really connect to the ideas shared through music in the warm thick air of the greenhouse.
