So many of todays techno productions make me feel like it is 1993 all over again. Like history is repeating itself, re-creating the atmosphere of the golden age of Rave and Hardcore.
Combining these new tunes with the music catalogue i created since 1991, The History Repeating Podcast will take you on a trip down memory lane.
The tunes I select for the History Repeating Techno Mix fill me with nostalgia, and easily take me back to a time of illegal warehouse parties, strobe lights and smoke machines. The HR mixes always contain oldschool samples, played from the newest and hottest tracks to the Evergreen, oldschool, and "Waaay-back-classics".
Every mix tells a new story and hits you in waves, with a beginning, a middle and an end.
Expect a lot of HipHop Samples, Heavy KickDrums, hard Chords, and funky Snares =:^)
