Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a personality disorder characterized by a pervasive, long-term pattern of significant interpersonal relationship instability, acute fear of abandonment, and intense emotional outbursts.
This set took four months to create - between exams, burnout and endless experimenting. I kept trying to follow the mixing rules I'd learned, until I realized this set couldn't exist inside those rules.
It needed impulsivity, unconventional mixing and intense highs and lows.
This mix follows the emotional pattern of a borderline mind:
trigger -> spiraling -> splitting -> impulsivity -> self regulation -> euphoria
