Choose Well

The parable of the rich man and Lazarus challenged people to choose to believe what Jesus said about himself, and to choose to live lives that demonstrate compassion. The parable challenges us today, even when we acknowledge Jesus as Lord, not to be complacent but to use our abundance to share God's grace with others. The recent police shooting of a black man in Tulsa reminds us of the importance of being proactive and intentional about effecting change in our community.
