I think I saw the email for this show when we were likely deep in clean-up mode; I checked the play list then and was thrilled to see a few recognizable artists. Very happy to finally have gotten my ears on this one! It is beyond brilliant and worthy of forever beginning again after every ending.

I still have yet to see the last Bond movie; my wife was not a fan due to its excessive violence, was it as crazy as she indicates? The theme song is fire, of course!

We are still in an Airbnb and probably will be until January (except when school's out for the holidays; we'll be at my mom-in-law's then). We have a contractor for the house; we're working to get permits to put up walls; we're nearly done with the kitchen design (may need to adjust it to fit a more common width fridge (36") instead of only 33" since we're also limited on depth); still need to choose all the other appliances and a sink and faucets; the water heater may have survived (we'll see); need to repair the AC and more things I don't have time to list. Needless to say, this is all exhausting, and I can't help but think... all that will soon be new will be destroyed in the next year or two (the yearly weather patterns have not been trending favorably at all). We certainly hope we can sell and move before the next "100-year storm(s)" (which are becoming adamant about not being called that anymore).

Oh Alan, sorry for taking so long to reply. How’s the family? What a tough situation it must be. I really hope you can rebuild your home in a reasonable amount of time. I totally get what you mean about thinking, “How long until this happens again?” and living with the fear of it happening again soon. If you can move to a safer area, that would definitely be much better.
I saw your message, and it made me so happy that you could spend some time with this session. I’m really glad it helped distract your mind too. Music is such a powerful weapon. Oh, the Bond movie—it’s in line with Daniel Craig’s style: a tormented character. I wouldn’t say it’s more violent, but definitely grittier, like all of Daniel’s films. I liked it—overall, I’m quite a fan!
