rec'd my set @ TESTAMENT 90s Friday night but it sounded crap (clipping & distortion: https://soundcloud.com/ryca/rec-20230811) so did it again next night with a few extra jams.
i opened the rave/d&b room, but not really known for rave/d&b so figured since Friday Aug 11th was Hiphop's 50th Bday, play a late80s-mid90s set tailored for the room that was heavily inspired by it.
(shouts to my brother rex -the real rave/d&b guy in the family- for bringing over a couple of his crates for me to dig thru... dude has a heavy collection of oldskool 12" heat, with a few joints getting a run here)
