Growing up in a household that listened predominantly to reggae music is where my passion for music originated. Listening to some of the greats such as Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, and Yellowman, inspired me to want to be a singer when I was older. In my teens I took up DJ-ing and that started my musical career. Spanning 5 decades has taken me too many heights. In 1989 I created the Rough But Sweet Sound System, Which continues to this day. We started out playing in small intimate venues and now play annually at Notting Hill Carnival and in venues internationally.
