@billyflowers hope you are still enjoying your Birthday week.. I am sure you know that the hurricane obliterated many parishes in Jamaica... There are 14- the second major airport is destroyed... I am happy lots of aid is being flown in ... The wealthy there are already going to areas unreachable to supply medical assistance etc.. It is said to be the worst in 90 years by the experts here ... I have reached a few friends - the City only mild damages .. They can do without electricity and water.. ha ha most have tanks and generators anyway... Sorry for the bad news... Many tourist from the UK and all over the world had to experience this... Local Jamaican restaurant owners especially one Lady I know here was on all our news channel . She is a wonderful soul... Now I know why all the clothes and shoes I have in storage was not donated locally .. I have done this for many years here.. It will go to my country of birth to the most kindest and loving people ... ππ
@rosie-suzanne yeah SisβοΈit has been a devastating storm! My grandsons mother is Jamaican and it was kind of a bitter sweet birthday with all that was going on.
Hopefully the aid will be prompt in arriving. Still celebrating though, oldest son DJβs part time and my youngest two were mixing too! Crazy B2B2B2B ! π

A slice of bread with local strawberry jam served with mushrooms picked from the nearby forest, an old tradition that actually works really well.
@ALD13 yummy... My favorite mushrooms are Portobello's baked.. I am vegetarian ... I eat nothing processed or artificial .. I would go to Ohio to visit with friends and we would hunt for morels .. I would of course cook for the small private housing development with a river running through it... Heavenly is all I can say.... Thanks for tuning in and do hope you are well...
