Before Neuro-funk we had darkside Drum & Bass. Early 1995 a new dark sound began to emerge that would become know as tech-step. Lead by pioneers such as Ed Rush, DJ Trace, Nico, Optical & Fierce and labels like No-U-Turn, Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, Prototype & Emotif, here I present 3 hours of the finest Techstep the Drum & Bass scene threw at us between 1995 & 1998.
