Pre-Millenium Tension Mix

This mix is about that feeling at the end of the nineties. From today‘s point of view it looks silly. But that moment, when the change of the millenium came closer, was charged with questions and tension, curiosity and ambiguity. Kind of a spirit of science-fiction was around. Of course it was just another turn of the year, which is quite unspectacular every year. But still, what‘s going to happen when `99 turns to `00? How do the computers react to this change? Big crash or nothing happens? We didn‘t know. And then, one second follows the previous, zap, first second of 2000. Feels like before.
All the tracks in this mix were released in 1999, except the remix of Tricky‘s Christiansands, which was on the Pre-Millenium Tension album in 1996.
