Luce Mawdsley Interview

Our guest today is Luce Mawdsley (Mésange, Cavalier Song), a composer and guitarist based in Liverpool. Mawdsley’s practice is rooted in progressive experimentation and draws from an appreciation of all things Americana. In March 2024, Luce released Northwest & Nebulous, an album inspired by the northern English landscape of their youth and draws from Mawdsley’s personal experiences as a neurodivergent non-binary composer.
