A MIX A DAY - Day 4

This mix was done around the time I was still DJing and producing as RareForce, alongside producing the first Hexstatic album, and is heavy on tracks from my Skint cohorts of the time. 'The Under 5's' boys used to play many of the back rooms including the regular Skint on Fridays night at The End where we used to get told off for playing "too uptempo" and distracting people from the main room 'stars'!? 'Jump Up' and 'Jungle' were the order of the day (night),..so,..yeah,..not very 'back room' music :) I had to play a couple of times after Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim in the main room which was always a challenge. House of Pain - Jump Around was always my first record on those occasions as it always guaranteed to keep a full room for at least 4 minutes before everyone fucked off when I played Smiley Culture. I think I was drunk when I recorded this mix.
