Last dance before the summer break at Ecstatic Dance Bern on 29 June 2024 with DJ Padma Sam. I hardly ever play tracks twice - always looking for new music - but for this set I decided to use only tracks I had already bought and played in previous mixes. It was kind of a nice walk (most of the dancers would probably have said 'workout') down memory lane. The title I've given this mix is in this context kind of paradoxical, but in retrospect seems somehow exactly right. At the end of this dancing season I'd like to acknowledge some of the Ecstatic Dance facilitators here on Mixcloud I find most inspiring (and in whose playlists I often find tracks I also want to play): katiedid, DJKonrad, dj Kat, DJ Michael Doepke, DJ Purusha, DJ DUANE, YARL, PETRO - DJ, Amanda DJ. Their consistent sharing of mixes and thus contribution to us all is highly appreciated!
