Compulsory voting

The Auckland Council has done a pre-election survey which gauges awareness and attitudes of potential voters. Overall, 52.2 per cent of those canvassed supported compulsory voting. Many of those are young people. Otago University law professor Andrew Geddis talks about whether compulsory voting will fly.
