In John 6:26-29 Jesus told the people they were seeking Him, because they are of the loaves and were filled.
There is the potential to follow Jesus to be filled with His blessings in our life, rather than His life.
His divine nature is the eternal life that He has promised to all those who love Him, not physical blessings.
In Deuteronomy 8:3 God told Israel that He tested them, that He might make them understand that man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by everything that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.
There are three potential gods of this world that can distract us and lead us astray from knowing God and having a pure devoted love for Christ.
