Magia Brazilera

Allow me to lead you through the sunshine and shadow of magnificent Brazil. From the sunny and bustling beaches of Bahia to the lavish and overgrown forests of the Amazon basin, to the sprawling poverty of the favelas, to the busy bars of Cinelandia, where the zestful funk bands play ever and anon, pleasing crowds with their groove and musical prowess. I recall the live music at Cirque Voador, when I visited Brazil in 2017 — the closest thing we have to heaven on earth! I recall standing in the crowd clapping with gusto and being transported into a musical daydream of pure verve. I was enrapured, uplifted, pleased and inspired so completely. Music as a perfect variety of escapism and joy. Brazil will always hold a unique and special place in my heart; a country defined by demonstrative embraces, plentiful kisses, and a readiness to embrace life with the utmost intensity. I think I may have a chronic case of Brazilian soul. Please apply copious amounts of coconut oil prior to listening!
