Visionz ( https://www.facebook.com/visionzreggae ) has been active since the early 2000s with the Original Freedom Fighters, where he was responsible for the roots reggae segment. At the Wayward Wednesdays sessions in the Izzy Maze in Antwerp (organised by Jah Rebel), het got to know Shanti and Missing Link. Visionz, Shanti, Missing Link, Spliff Well Fat and Juli Jupter started building the Blackbird Soundsystem in 2016 to focus on their common love: roots reggae.
