This show was 3rd in the global dub techno chart and 92nd in the global electronica chart.
Binary began from a chance meeting between Lee Millar and Wilson Logan in 2013. Having worked on visuals for Lee's Optic Project where he had Gary Beck in town, the two began to exchange music and discuss ideas about future events. It was quite clear early on that there was a connection and a deeply shared love of all things techno.
In the months that followed the pair would begin play together more regularly and subsequently Lee joined forces with Wilson's fellow promoters which make up the Playground Collective.
Musically the pair can be quite diverse in their range of sounds, playing everything from sunshine house music to 135 BPM techno melters and everything in-between.
You can catch them playing regularly around most of Manchester's musical haunts including Whiskey jar, Soup Kitchen , Joshua Brooks and Sankeys.
