The second instalment of the Reference Mark Mix Series. Past, present and future friends of the label are given the chance to reference the sounds that define them.

As a co-founder of the Sheffield-based Rave New World night Andrew Cook aka Soundboy Cookie immediately established himself in the underground garage scene. This success up north was swiftly followed by a move to London, a slew of swinging productions and recognition from some of the most prominent figures in the scene such as Perception, DJ Shy Dee and El-B. Here he shows why we refer to him as the 2-step garage guru – introducing us to the scenes thriving new school, including forthcoming and unreleased material as well as adding some breakbeat/techno flavour for good measure.
