Rajkamal Kahlon is an American artist and educator based in Berlin. Her drawings, paintings and performative installations use different strategies of visual analysis & critical reflection to disrupt and transform texts and images found within historical and contemporary colonial archives. In her latest show Staying with Trouble, she takes a closer look at the history and the traces of colonialism at the Weltmusem Wien. Kahlon’s work digs out narratives and representations which deal with the suffering of the “othered”.
