Forty days and forty nights of this. This project is starting to take on Biblical dimensions. First up, RIP to NYC disco demigod Hamilton Bohannon who departed for the Great Dancefloor in the Sky a couple of days ago. One of his uber-funky 12"s sends us off into Afrodisco/Afrobeat territory and beyond into the realms of Latin, Motown, Northern Soul, Studio One, 50s R&B and random Japanese minimalist funk, with a swamp-funk hoedown to conclude.
