I first learned to mix on vinyl in the late 90s and even DJed my own 21st with the original AtomixMP3 (yes, that ancient beast). Took a break, jumped back in when the iPad came along, and by 2011 I was rocking a Traktor Kontrol S4 at house parties in China, then an office party back in the UK… and the mobile DJ bug bit hard (along with the “buy too much gear” curse).
These days I run on Engine DJ with a Denon Prime 4, but the old turntables and my stack of 90s/00s vinyl are still lurking in the garage, waiting for those nostalgia sessions.
Some of my early mixes on here are gloriously cringe, but that’s part of the fun — music evolves, DJs evolve, and I’m just here chasing the groove. Follow along and I’ll keep dropping mixes that bring the vibes. 🎶
