August 6th and 8th Marked the 69th anniversary of the bombings on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. We speak to Mariko, the granddaughter of a woman who was working in Hiroshima City that day, who tells us about growing up in Hiroshima and learning of her grandmothers story. We also speak to Prof. Bo Jacobs from the Hiroshima Peace Institute about the social and political mood towards nuclear issues in Japan.
