Learning another language. It’s not something that native English speakers do enough of, far from it. But if we dared to try, what would soundtrack our efforts? Perhaps music born on the mediteranean, a northern European city basement or in the Pyrenees, who knows. This is a little evidence that the English speaking world did not create the only music that matters. All of it was inspired, written and produced in a non-English speaking country. It’s all performed by non- native English speakers.
