Interesting project , a pre summer solstice chillout session.
I had met Dave Kenneally years ago through my core friend group , he had spent some years studying under Thich Nhaht Hanh at a zen monastery , and runs Sangha Ocean Beach near San Diego , and World Beat Sangha. After some conversations about the convergences of music and philosophy , we agreed to do some collaborative work.
Took a while but the proper timing came up for this downtempo , drum and bass , underground chillout groove. There"s a fair amount of sampling from Zen MC Brother Dave woven through my typical fusion set structure.

Man , What a fun project. Seeing theres only 1 degree of seperation from one of the worlds most acknowledged philosophers of modern times , the only way to go was deep.
The voice parts worked out rather miraculously. We could have added more fluff , but I usually like to get straight to the point. Im sure my listeners from the more rave side would even agree.
