I remember my first introduction to garage rock. My cousin had a pack of mini flexi-discs, made by hip-pocket records, featuring bands from The Doors to Neil Diamond. Bands like the Seeds, Tommy James & the Shondells, John Fred & his Playboy Band and the Buckinghams were all in the collection. All I know is that I dug the music. Still dig it. This mix takes me back to that time of discovery. Since then, I have always been on the lookout for all kinds of music, which I like to share. Check it out.
