Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 - the UK top tens from 1954 to 1984 show! It's been a busy birthday week, and today is my Mum's, so in celebration, I've pulled together a playlist of UK top tens from this week, selecting a track from each year that was charting today. Starting out with a rocking drum solo from Duke Ellington that rivals the metal of Iron Maiden from later in the set, we take a wander through the weeks, years and decades listening to how popular music evolves, and hopefully enjoying the time machine of tunes.
