Tuesday, June 23rd, 2020 - the Steve Cropper show! As writer, musician, producer, and label owner, Steve Cropper has created some of the most well-known and well-loved music from the 1960s onwards. He's a Memphis legend, and while I lived there, I worked out of the same recording studio he owned after he left STAX – Trans-Maximus Records (TMI). Now owned by Playhouse on the Square, the building is still rich with creativity, and during my time there, we used the building for writing and recording music for numerous shows, and other projects.
