#61 - Disloyalty
It was the right size and shape, five little holes punched out of its bottom edge with space for one more, but where the logo of a coffee shop should be there were only two words in serif font: Disloyalty Card. Derrick picked it up and turned it over, but the other side was completely blank...
A short story about loyalty cards, coffee, and the nature of the soul. I have a lot of loyalty cards, such that I often call them my disloyalty cards. Why isn't the whole system computerised in more places?I have brought my YouTube channel up to date, and all 61 Pocket Fiction podcasts are now available there - including this one! You can curl up in front of the warming rays of a simulated fire, perhaps with a cup of cocoa and a hot water bottle, and while away the winter evenings. As always, I would love to collaborate with you! If you have short fiction that you would like me to include as a standalone episode of Pocket Fiction, drop me a line!Ea
