Compilation that i made to tribute very influential and inspiring for me series of records called MPBC, which means Musica Popular Brasileira Contemporanea (Contemporary Popular Brazilian Music), wich was released on Phonogram-Polygram label between 1978 and 1981. However, the music wasn't closely related to MPB or other Brazilian Pop music, but in fact was Fusion Jazz combined with Folk, Brazilian styles like Samba, Bossa Nova and Forro. The purpose of the 11 LPs was to show new diverse tendencies of instrumental music from professional musicians, composers and arrangers. All of them are spectacular! Also, every album has outstanding cover from Aldo Luiz. Timeless!
