PhriendX began exploring music using keyboards, bass, and guitar at the age of 13. Hailing from the Upper Great Lakes region, he played in the bands OtherKind and Gladstone Bag. After a long hiatus from formally creating music, Covid inspired his recent explorations into virtual reality, digital music production, and mixing. With Tribe, a virtual reality DJ platform, he is able to combine his passions for all of these emergent technologies.
