long / endless longing

A mix recorded in 2004 or 2005, I'm not really sure. It features a bunch of rather experimental tracks and some downbeat- and ambient-stuff. Most of these songs are alltime-favorites of mine and I still listen to them a lot.
Back in the days, I made some CDs to give them to my closest friends and this one was titled "long/endless longing". When listening to this mix today, I'm not sure whether this title really fits the vibe of this music and I guess I wouldn't name it the same way again (and I can't even remember why I chose that name).

The cover for this CD feautured a drawing by Terrence Koh, who called himself "Asianpunkboy" back then. It shows two blue birds and the words "Two birds flew away and destroyed me today." I added a little card with some text from a novel by M. Houellebecq and colored dots.
